Melissa Trevitt

Central Falls

Melissa is the Blended and Personalized Learning Facilitator for the Central Falls School District. Prior to that position, she taught fifth grade in Central Falls for thirteen years. Melissa is excited to be a Fuse Fellow so that she can learn from the best and continue her own professional growth. She also appreciates the opportunity to support other districts around the state with their implementations of blended and personalized learning practices. Her educator superpower is creating a climate where each child has a strong voice and feels like an important member of the class community.
ACHIEVEMENTS
  • Gained the skills and confidence to facilitate meetings with a variety of stakeholders both in her home district and partner district
  • Built positive and productive relationships with over 25 Early Adopter teachers in her district
  • Received the Fuse RI 2018 Igniter Award
