Amanda Davia

Amanda is an English Teacher at Narragansett High School. She is excited to be a Fuse Fellow because she has seen how the change to blended learning has had a positive impact in her classroom with her students. Not only has it engaged them in their learning, but it's ignited a new energy when she's planning lessons. She looks forward to learning more through her involvement in the Fuse Fellowship and to helping others make this pedagogical shift in their own schools and classrooms. One of Amanda's educator superpowers is the ability to create an open learning environment. She does her best to make students feel comfortable enough to voice their wants and needs throughout the year. Additionally, she welcomes others in - including fellow educators, student teachers, district leaders - and she's open to their involvement and ideas towards making her classroom a better place for students.
